HEALTHY SUGAR-FREE GRANOLA

Recipe author: Malin Seijboldt

A tasty recipe for healthy homemade granola without sugar. The best thing about making your own granola is that you can make a healthier granola with the seeds and nuts you prefer. Plus, the kitchen is filled with delicious smells as the granola bakes in the oven.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 dl oatmeal
  • 3 dl rye flakes
  • 1 dl sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 dl flax seeds
  • 1 dl coconut flakes
  • 3/4 dl Use like sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 dl water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp Fiber Honey

METHOD:

Mix the oats, rye flakes, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, coconut flakes, Use like sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Then stir together the water and oil. Pour the mixture over the flakes and stir well with your hands. Spread everything on a baking sheet and drizzle Fiber Honey over the mixture. Toast the granola for 15-20 minutes at 200°C.

After the granola has cooled, you can add anything from dried apples to cranberries, your choice. A tip is to mix in the coconut flakes after half the time in the oven, otherwise they can get burnt.

Deliciously crunchy and good to eat for breakfast or as a snack without added sugar.
