PORK JUICE WITHOUT ADDED SUGAR
Recipe author: Malin Seijboldt
Take the opportunity to make your own elderberry juice from the elderflowers that are in full bloom now during the summer months. Refreshing and sweet at the same time. This recipe is made with our sugar substitute Use like sugar and is therefore a completely sugar-free juice.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 dl Use like sugar
- 1 liter of water
- 1 crm ascorbic acid
- 20 large bunches of elderflowers
- 1 lemon
Bring the water and Use Like Sugar to the boil in a large saucepan. Stir in the meantime so that everything dissolves. While the water is boiling, clean and rinse the flower clusters. Shake them off and put them in a large bowl or saucepan. Rinse the lemons and cut them into slices and put them with the elderflowers. Add the ascorbic acid to the boiled sugar water. Leave to cool. Put a lid over the juice. Leave the elderflower juice to infuse for two days at a cool temperature. Then strain the pork juice and pour it into bottles.
One tip is to pour the juice into bags that have ice cube trays. This way you can store the juice longer and get cold juice at the same time.
Delicious, simple and sugar-free.
